Alma is an urbanist specializing in the relationship between art, cities and public space. She leads Art Out Front in partnership with Gallery Particulier, bringing an urbanist’s eye to the often-overlooked creative expressions that shape New York’s streets and neighborhoods. Through the project, she is developing a new way of looking at the city. Instead of looking for art produced institutionally, she focuses on celebrating the spontaneous expression of its residents.
